The Seal of Planet Potaufeu — Secret of the Unleashed “Superhuman Water”!
On a far off alien planet we see a panda-like man training in kung-fu when another group of aliens touch down…”So, you’ve come at last…”
Back on Earth Monaka is making another delivery. Bulma has ordered more of the sweets that Jaco had previously at the victory party. Bulma then thanks Monaka and then asks him if he could help her with one of her experiments that she is working on. Monaka is unsure considering he has another delivery to make on Planet Potaufeu. Bulma promises him that she only needs him for a short time. Monaka gives in and begins helping her with an experiment that completely confuses him. Goten and Trunks suddenly arrive and notice Monaka’s spaceship. After noticing that Monaka isn’t in the ship, the two boys go in the ship and look around to see what exactly Monaka is delivering.
Both are intrigued by what they see. Trunks first notices a sword, while Goten plays will a doll which suddenly inflates and expands massively. Trunks then deflates the doll with the sword, but the spaceship cargo door suddenly closes. Trunks thinks it would be best just to break through the ship, but he’s decide that they probably shouldn’t ruin Monaka’s ship. The two wait, but unfortunately as soon as Monaka returns he just hops in his spaceship and takes off. Goten and Trunks still remain inside and begin yelling for help, but of course Monaka cannot hear them.
While flying through space, Monaka is listening to his radio. He then hears the announcement of the 13th Galactic Patrol Conference. This is where galaxy’s best pants makers will do their best to make a universal system of pants sizes. The radio DJ then reads a letter from a listener whose name is “Grand Ponta” that is excited to receive a package that is labeled “Fragile, Handle with Care” – (The name “Monaka” means “Grand Ponta”). Back in the cargo area Trunks and Goten start to get a bit cold.
As Monaka finally reaches Planet Potaufeu, he discovers Goten and Trunks, frozen, in the cargo bay. He helps them to get warm and begins to explain where they are. The panda-like alien from earlier on then appears and it just so happens to be Monaka’s old friend named “Potage”, and Monaka has a package which holds a copy of “Martial Arts Monthly” for him. Suddenly, two purple aliens appear and are ready to fight! Potage gets ready to fight, but he proves no match right off the bat. The pacifier looking object that Potage was wearing around his neck then falls to the ground but he doesn’t notice it at first. Trunks and Goten then step in to back Potage up, but as soon as the attackers back away, their boss notices the pacifier that fell on the ground.
Potage then thanks them and tells them that those aliens came to steal the planet’s “dormant power” which he is sworn to protect. He then reaches for the pacifier that was hanging from his neck, but realizes that it isn’t there. Potage then panics and asks the boys to help him find it. While looking around they come up short and do not find it. At that point one the alien leader takes responsibility for having it, and now they even have Monaka hostage! Trunks and everyone then allow themselves to be taken and tied up. It is then explained that the planet’s “dormant power” is called “Superhuman Water”. This water is said to increase the power of an individual by hundreds of times. With this, the pacifier is the key that can unseal the water with is deep within some ruins. Potage then explains that the Superhuman Water doesn’t actually exist and that it is just a myth. In fact, he claims that if they use the key to break the seal they will simply be swallowed up. The aliens disregard Potage’s claims and break the seal anyway. They then let out a scream!
The scene changes back to Earth and Bulma discovers by looking at the Capsule Corp security cameras that Trunks and Goten went off with Monaka on his ship. She turns to Jaco for help and asks for him to bring them back. She remembers that Monaka still had one delivery left to make to Planet Potaufeu and assumes they must be there. Jaco claims that Potaufeu is deserted, and that he doesn’t have time to get involved right now. He claims that he is on trial and his current job is to catch the villain named Gryll from Planet Saute. He then shows a picture of the Gryll and it just so happens to be the leader of the aliens attacking on Planet Potaufeu.
Naturally, Bulma finds a way to blackmail Jaco into helping her get the boys by threatening to reveal how Jaco ruined a picture of the Galactic King. This could get him fired! She also drags Vegeta along, and they all head off. Bulma then calls up Chi Chi to make her aware of the situation at hand. Chi Chi explains that Goku is off training with Kaio (King Kai). We then see Goku up at Kaio’s training, and that his ki is now restored back to normal. In fact, Goku feels he probably should be training over at Beerus’ place but Whis told him that they had some place to be.
Back on Planet Potafeu Trunks and co. try escaping from Gryll and his men. It is at this point that Jaco and Vegeta finally arrive. Jaco recognizes Gryll as the villain he is after, and Vegeta attacks his men. After running circles around them they begin to dissolve turning into a purple liquid. Vegeta then turns to Gryll to fight, but suddenly the purple liquid the aliens have turned into completely engulfs him. Vegeta is then spat out and Vegeta realizes that his power is gone! The purple liquid then begins forming into an exact copy of Vegeta…!
