Who Are the Two Remaining Members?!

Episode Summary:

As Goku and Vegeta try and decide who they are going to pick for the remaining spots on the Universe 7 team, they meet up with Kuririn. However, Kuririn thinks that they are going to be having a picnic in outer space! He explains that he heard this from No. 18, and that she heard this from Chi-Chi. Evidently, Chi-Chi misunderstood Goku. Goku then begins to explain to Kuririn where they are actually going. Goku states that they need Boo on their team, and even though the evil Boo was removed from within him, he is still powerful and would be a benefit to their Universe 7 team. It is at this point that Goku mentions that the evil Boo has been reincarnated as a human, but says that the reincarnation is still far too young to be able to compete.

Goku and Vegeta head over to Mister Satan’s place to recruit Boo, but he isn’t interested. Goku then tries to bribe him by offering him a wish with one of the Super Dragon Balls. Boo then states that Mister Satan has already given him everything that he wants. However, if he does with he will give his wish to Mister Satan to use instead.

Back on Beerus’ planet, Beerus is enjoying himself some instant ramen. Whis asks him why he agreed to this tournament asking him that if it is possible that Goku’s spirit is rubbing off on him. Beerus denies this assumption, and then questions Whis as to why he decided to train Goku and Vegeta in the first place. Could it be that Whis wants him to have them fight Beerus someday? Whis too denies this, and they both head off to meet with Monaka.

Back on Earth Goten and Trunks go meet up with Goku and Vegeta. Just like Kuririn, they were under the impression that they were going to a picnic in space. Trunks is especially excited to hear about this tournament, however, Vegeta tells him that fusion is against the rules, and that he needs to get strong on his own if he ever wants a chance to compete. Goku and Vegeta then meet up with Piccolo, who is in the middle of training Gohan. Initially Gohan is eager to enter the tournament so that he can show off his power now the he is training again, but when he finds out that it is so soon he realizes that he cannot since he has an important academic conference that same day. Piccolo then agrees to be on the team.

The scene changes back to Capsule Corp where Jaco still has yet to reach Earth. Goku mentions that he would like to training in the Room of Spirt and Time with Piccolo and Vegeta, which Dende is currently fixing. His reasoning for this is because they can get 3 years’ worth of training in just 3 Earth days’ time. Piccolo turns down the offer stating that he wouldn’t able to keep up with their training and that he would benefit more from meditation. At first Vegeta declines saying that him and Goku are near their limit and would not be able to power up much more even with three years of training. However, Goku is so set on becoming as powerful as Monaka so Vegeta ends up giving in.

Out in space Beerus and Whis reach Monaka’s planet. Whis seems uneasy about bringing Monaka to compete in the tournament because he feels something bad may happen. Beerus isn’t concerned and tells Whis to let him handles things.
