Despair Once More! Revival of the Evil Emperor Freeza!
In a dark, not so dark, corner of Hell, the terrifying (now annoyed), Freeza is trapped inside a cocoon hanging from a tree. Below him we see faeries and stuffed animals dancing and playing musical instruments.
Far out in space, Sorbet and his army look to recover from their damages suffered from their previous encounter with Champa and Vados. With their forces dwindling, Sorbet then proposes that this would be the perfect time to revive the evil tyrant Freeza. At this point Tagoma expresses skepticism, stating that just one person would not be able to make a differences in their now 60% smaller army. However, Sorbet explains that when he was alive, Freeza’s power was un-matchable, and with him alive they would be able to gain control of roughly 70% of the universe. With no success locating the Namekians and their Dragon Balls, it’s off to Earth to use theirs. In doing so, Sorbet realizes that the Pilaf Gang is already looking for them, which makes locating them an easier find.
The scene changes to Beerus’ planet. At this point we see both Goku and Vegeta sparring against Whis. They are no match for him. Whis compliments the both of them on their improvements, but it is clear that they still have work to do. It is at that very moment when Whis “autographs” both Vegeta and Goku’s trainer gear. Whis then explains that Vegeta is too tense when he fights, preventing him from reaching his full potential, and Goku is too relaxed, causes him to let his guard down.
Back on Earth, we see Piccolo baby-sitting Pan while Gohan and Videl are out shopping. We then see a side of Piccolo that we’ve never seen before. He begins making silly noises and faces to make her laugh while her parents are gone. When Gohan and Videl get home, Piccolo senses something. It is at this point when Tagoma and Sorbet arrive on Earth in search of the Pilaf Gang. With some non-violent forcefulness, Sorbet convinces the Gang to part with the Dragon Balls. Shortly thereafter, Shenlong is summoned. Sorbet then wishes for Freeza to be revived, but Shenlong explains that being that Freeza was cut into pieces before his died, there would be no point in summoning him in such a state. However, with their new advances, Tagoma believes that with their new regeneration machine they will be able to make it work. Shenlong grants their wish, and then asks what their next two wishes are. Shenlong explains that ever since Dende took over as Earth’s God, he can now grant there; however, wishes that revive everyone on a planet or other larger wishes use up two wishes at once). Before being able to revive Freeza’s father, Shu wishes for a million zenny, and Mai wishes for the best tasting ice cream in the world! Their wishes are granted, and Shenlong leaves.
Sorbet is angered by Shu and Mai’s interference and states that he wants to kill the Pilaf Gang. Tagoma tells Sorbet that they’ve got to leave the earth as soon as possible before the Saiyans arrive. They begin picking up Freeza’s body parts and place them in to a container. Before their departure, Sorbet promises to the Pilaf Gang that they’ll be back, and with a fully revived Freeza. While their ship takes off, a frog shows up and shows interest in their spaceship (hmm…!). Shortly after the scene changes back to Gohan’s house, where Piccolo feels uneasy.
Back on Sorbet’s spaceship, Freeza is being regenerated inside their new regeneration machine. Freeza is shown regenerating in his first form, without any sign of mechanical parts. Once more Tagoma is still skeptical about reviving Freeza, but Sorbet explains that after his death, people stopped fearing the Freeza army causing rebellion. Tagoma has only seen Freeza one time, and wasn’t impressed. Shishami doesn’t like Tagoma’s attitude, but before you know it, the regeneration of Freeza is complete. Breaking the regeneration machine with his incredible power, Freeza emerges. Far off on Beerus’ planet, Goku and Vegeta are cleaning. Before you know it, Goku gets a bad feeling, but Vegeta tells him to get back to work! Freeza is back, and ready to seek his revenge.
