Showdown on Kaiō’s Planet! Goku vs God of Destruction Beerus
Beerus and Whis have arrived onto King Kai’s planet. King Kai hid Goku in fear he would fight the God of Destruction. Goku sees Whis first and assumes he is Beerus but later learns by his identity. Eventually Beerus tires of small talk and gets to his business with the Saiyan he knows about on King Kai’s planet. King Kai frighteningly forgot and remembers to introduce his guest. Goku gets excited at the thought of how strong he could be and energetically greets Beerus. At first informally introducing himself as said by King Kai, they begin discussing the Super Saiyan God. Goku and King Kai have no idea what he is talking about, and Goku doesn’t recall reaching a level of that name. Disappointed, Beerus isn’t hesitant to waste any time investigating what Vegeta on Earth knows about the Super Saiyan God.
As they begin to depart Goku stops and asks to see Beerus’s supposedly fearsome power. Which then turns into as a fight because Beerus humors Goku’s request. Goku demonstrates his Super Saiyan transformation and Beerus sees how he could have defeated Freeza. Super Saiyan Goku initiates the fight and tries his best to hit Beerus, but Beerus instantly disappears as every punch is thrown and reappears the second Goku misses. His speed is too high. Goku goes Super Saiyan 2 to keep testing his speed and power on Beerus, punching holes through King Kai’s planet and the power of SSJ2 is shown as he rampages the planet punch after punch but fails to hit him as Beerus instantly dodges every pursuit of his. Goku want’s him to show some power but Beerus sees this as fruitless and decides to leave.
Beerus senses Goku hasn’t shown his true power, and requests to see it in exchange to see some of his godly power.won’t give up until he tries his hardest. Goku agrees, and powers up to transform into a Super Saiyan 3, with his hair morphing longer in the process. Whis and Beerus find this transformation interesting, but Beerus still doesn’t sense any godly ki within him, but complimenting the significant power difference between his first Super Saiyan. Goku tries to strike but Beerus dodges, and then palms every single one of Goku’s flurry of punches. Goku gets frustrated and see how he goes up against a fully charged Super Saiyan 3 Kamehameha. He fires it at Beerus and it hits him. After the smoke clears Beerus is shown completely unharmed, managing to block it with his finger. Goku is frustrated as Beerus intimidates him and Goku angrily fires another Kamehameha at him, but and Beerus foresees this and dodges as it goes through the ground destroying most of the inner planet. Beerus tells him the power of destruction is scary as he flicks his finger at Goku’s forehead, the sheer power of this flick propels Goku’s body flying. With his speed Beerus catches him up behind him and hits his trapezius muscle, forcing him straight down to the ground. Beerus and Whis then make their way to Earth. Goku is beaten.
Vegeta is relaxing as he made his way to his wife’s birthday party. Bulma is happy to finally see him arrive. She asks Vegeta to come interact with everyone else there but Vegeta rudely declines. King Kai then contacts Vegeta telepathically to tell him Beerus is coming. Vegeta recalls hearing that name before, King Kai goes on saying he woke up and is coming there. Don’t spoil his mood or it could mean the destruction of Earth. He then tells him he defeated Goku in 2 strikes which astonishes him, which convinces Vegeta and amazes him.
Goku wakes up and is astounded somebody that strong exists. He thinks about fusing with Vegeta, but even then the chances are low. Goku wonders what the Super Saiyan God is as a he stands back up confused.
