Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta was revealed as a pre-order only character for the upcoming Dragon Ball: XENOVERSE video game. Of course this upsets many people, because SSJ4 Goku is available regardless of pre-ordering. SSJ4 Vegeta’s unavailability to players who didn’t pre-order lowers the chances of a fan favorite character SSJ4 Gogeta on initial release, because if a fusion system is implemented players would most likely need to have SSJ4 Vegeta ready and loaded. It is likely that since only half of the SSJ4 duo will be available to players who didn’t pre-order, a plan to include more GT related characters VIA Downloadable Content will be implemented. However, Bandai Namco and Dimps, the developers behind the well-received Budokai series, have likely already considered this in their decision to make SSJ4 Vegeta pre-order only.
There is a good chance SSJ4 Vegeta will appear as DLC (Downloadable Content) later in the year for those who didn’t pre-order, and SSJ4 Gogeta is likely to have the same situation. Aspects of GT in XENOVERSE remain close to none besides the Super Saiyan 4 Transformation, but for now players who pre-order XENOVERSE are already ahead of the game.
